In October 2003, players of Imperialism 2 were doubtless cheered by this announcement:

Hi, this is to advise anyone who's interested that I've put together a site for Imperialism 2.

It's called The Daily Imperialist and it's at http://www.thedailyimperialist.ws

The intention is to collect all possible resources relating to Imp2, including ideas and suggestions for Imp3 (the latter falls under the heading of wishful thinking, given Frog City's recent comments, which can be found on the Imp3 page).

Please drop by and leave some feedback, and if you have any Imp-related links, writing, or ideas, feel free to submit them. The more the merrier!

Thanks,
dminoz

Once again the Southern Hemisphere leads in the technology world!

The site has expanded to Imp1 and Trade Empires and has had some changes of address and may have now finally stopped being updated, but it has performed grandly while alive.

It says "hosted by StrategyPlanet", but that redirects to www.gamespy.com, which is still visible but says it stopped in February 2013, leaving the archive.kontek.net pages as the only source in October 2014.
