Italy is a minor nation in Imperialism 2 and in some scenarios of Imperialism, though there it may be a great power in late-start scenarios, the portion from Rome northwards being commonly a GP or MN in early scenarios as "Sardinia" while the south is "Sicily" - historically the Kingdom of Two Sicilies (which was at times only one).
